Relaxing Outside of the Box

Because of a surprise night away this weekend, I didn't get any cooking done, any housework taken care of, and I've got five loads of laundry staring me in the face... Oh, and did I mention the water meter is being replaced this morning at 8:50? It's early, and I've got a TON of stuff on my personal "To Do" list- as well as my business tasks.
But, as always first things first on a Monday- so here I am blogging. As I said before, Rick took me away for our belated Valentine's Day celebration Saturday night- everything was a complete mystery; as he wouldn't reveal our destination, any activities, or any other surprises he might have hidden up his sleeve (or in his pocket as the case may have been).
It was nice to get out of the house- even if we were only 15 miles from home, we wound up in the Financial District of Boston. It was even nicer to get off the couch, as the last few weekends we've been prisoners of the couch and Netflix- we walked around The Common, and Faneuil Hall. Having dinner at a 4.5 star restaurant was an added bonus- no cleaning for me! Yippee!
I spent yesterday visiting with my sisters, walking around the Derby Street Shoppes, and just really enjoying their company.
This brings us to Monday morning- where I feel like I've got a million things to get done; but I don't have my first client until 2pm- so I'll be fine.
It was really nice to take a couple of unseasonably gorgeous February days and get outside, enjoy the people in my life, and relax in a different way! I'm feeling energized and ready to conquer this week!
Aside from yoga, sitting on the couch, or reading, how do you relax in a different way?
